Meet Nichole
My passion is helping clients increase their life and career satisfaction by teaching strategies to reduce their anxiety and increase the meaning and happiness in their lives and careers. I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) which encourages clients to be present, open up, and do what matters. My style has been described as warm and enthusiastic yet calm, and I will keep you accountable for practicing new skills between sessions.
I’ve worked as a career counselor for twenty years, and I enjoy helping clients with career challenges and assisting them in choosing new career paths that fit their values, interests, personality, and skills. Before that, I worked in the corporate world for 10 years, and I’m currently a faculty member at the Indiana University Kelley School of Business in Bloomington where I've taught full-time at the undergraduate level since 2013, and recently began teaching a DEIJB course for Kelley Direct, our online MBA program.
I see clients via telehealth so I’m able to see clients from all over Indiana. I am private pay, but I am happy to create monthly Superbill so you can submit our sessions to your insurance for possible out-of-network coverage.
An accomplished public speaker, I speak regularly on reducing anxiety while increasing joy and meaning, living a values-based life, handling conflict, imposter syndrome, and personal branding.
